  • 2. How do I book a therapy session on fyp.life?Icon
    1. Log in to your Fyp Life account (or create account if you're a new user).
    2. Browse and filter therapists by specialty, language, gender, availability, or mental health concern.
    3. Select a verified therapist who fits your preferences.
    4. Choose a suitable time slot from their calendar.
    5. Confirm your booking and complete the online payment.
    6. You’ll receive a confirmation email and a session Link for the virtual therapy call.
  • 3. Can I reschedule a confirmed online therapy session?Icon
    Yes, you can! We understand that plans change. You can reschedule your confirmed online therapy session only once, and only up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. Just go to My Sessions, click on the online therapy session you want to reschedule, and select a new date and time that suits you. Please note: Rescheduling may be subject to online therapist availability and our rescheduling policy.
  • 4. Can I cancel a confirmed online therapy session?Icon
    Cancellations are currently available when a therapist reschedules the session, in which case, the client can cancel the session. However, clients would not be able to initiate a cancellation of a confirmed session outside of the above scenario. See our terms & conditions for details.
  • 5. Can the therapist cancel my online therapy session?Icon
    Yes, but only if absolutely necessary.
    Therapists may rarely cancel online therapy sessions due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. If that happens:
    • You’ll receive an immediate notification via email
    • You are then eligible to reschedule the online therapy session at your convenience or cancel the same.
  • 6. Am I eligible for a refund upon cancellation of an online therapy session?Icon
    Yes, you are eligible for 100% refund on session cancellations according to our refund policy. Kindly note we currently offer cancellations only under two conditions: therapist rescheduling the session without the consent of the client, or therapist cancelling the session (in which case session automatically gets cancelled). Fyp Life ensures secure payments, transparent refund policies, and affordable online therapy in India so that clients feel safe and supported throughout their mental health journey.
  • 7. If the online therapy session gets interrupted, what is my recourse?Icon
    If your session is interrupted due to technical issues, you need to try to reconnect within a few minutes.
    If reconnection fails, you can also contact our support team by sending an email to support@fyp.life. Don't worry, in case of any technical issue from the website or app side, you shall receive full refund for the payment made. This guarantees smooth, secure, and reliable therapy sessions online in India.
  • 8. How many times can I reschedule an online therapy session?Icon
    You can reschedule your confirmed online therapy session only once, and only up to 12 hours before the scheduled time from the My Sessions page. In case of rescheduling from the therapist's side, you are eligible to reschedule the online therapy session 3 times for that particular session anytime. Please note: Rescheduling may be subject to therapist availability and our rescheduling policy. This ensures flexibility while maintaining affordable and accessible therapy online.
  • 9. I am unable to chat with the therapistIcon
    If you can’t see chat feature enabled with the therapist, it would usually mean you have not booked a session yet. If you had indeed booked a session, then it means that it has been more than 7 days since you booked the session or your session has already been completed whichever is later. Chat is available for 7 days from the booking date or until your session date, whichever is later. Book another session to access chat again.
  • 10. What happens if my session is cancelled?Icon
    You’ll be notified instantly via email and/or SMS and you shall receive a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days. At Fyp Life, we value client trust and ensure secure, hassle-free online therapy booking and cancellation policies.
  • 11. I forgot my password. What do I do?Icon
    No worries! Just click on the forgot password Link on the login page. You’ll receive an email with instructions to reset your password securely. If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder—or contact our support team for help.
    Alternatively, you may change your password from My Account page too. Fyp Life ensures secure login and privacy for online therapy users.

    Fyp Life currently accepts payments through third party payment gateway - Razorpay, which supports a variety of options including:
    • UPI (Google Pay, BHIM, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
    • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay etc.)
    • Net Banking (All major banks)
    • Digital Wallets (Paytm, Amazon Pay etc.)
  • 13. Are therapy sessions audio/video/chat-based?Icon
    Yes, online therapy sessions in India on Fyp Life are primarily 100% secure, encrypted & video-based, but you can switch off the video during the call if you prefer voice interaction. This format is designed to create a more personal and engaging experience, similar to in-person therapy.
    Client may interact with therapist and ask for an audio only or text chat only session from 2nd session onwards, however the therapist has to accept the same based on evaluation of client's assessment. This flexibility makes therapy personalized, secure, and client-friendly.
    Kindly note, chat feature is available for 7 days from the booking date or until your session date, whichever is later. Book another session to access chat again.
  • 14. Can I access the Fyp Life online platform from my mobile or tablet?Icon
    Yes, you can access the Fyp Life online therapy platform from your mobile or tablet device. Fyp Life is currently a web-based platform, meaning you can use it through a browser on any device, including smartphones and tablets. Very soon, we will be launching Android and iOS apps for video calls and chats, we shall keep you posted if you created an account with us.

    Don't worry, in case of any technical issue from the website or app side, you shall receive full refund for the payment made. You can send an email to support@fyp.life however it may take 24 hours for response.
  • 16. What is the fee for therapy?Icon
    Fyp Life is a mental health platform in India, where therapists list themselves and set their individual pricing, starting at ₹999 per session.
  • 17. Can I pay for multiple sessions at a time?Icon
    Yes, Fyp Life allows users to pay for multiple therapy sessions at once. This option is convenient for those seeking long-term mental health support online at affordable rates.

    Availability of therapists is decided solely at their discretion. You can check available time slots directly on their profile page.

    Yes, your feedback is highly valued. After each session, you'll have the option to rate your experience and write a review. This helps us to know more about our partners' work & continuously improve our services. In case of any escalation or issue faced by you, feel free to reach out to support@fyp.life. Your voice helps us improve online therapy in India.

    While Fyp Life is accessible 24x7 for booking, browsing, and support queries over email, therapist sessions are available based on individual schedules, which may not cover all hours. You can view available time slots in the booking section of therapist profile page and choose a time that fits your needs.
  • 22. What is Ask Mini?Icon
    Mini is an AI assistant for Fyp Life users, it shares basic information about the platform and therapy related queries. It even recommends therapists based on their specializations. But it is not a therapist or a replacement for a human customer service representative, who can be reached out for more advanced queries at support@fyp.life.
    Kindly note: Mini is NOT a conversational AI assistant and it is meant only for basic level FAQs. Mini cannot be used for any medical consultation whether emergency or otherwise.
  • 23. Is my data secure, private, confidential?Icon
    Yes, all the video calls and chat are 100% encrypted, secure and powered by the worldclass provider - Agora which is used by some of the top service providers in the world. No representative of Fyp Life ever has access to your private conversation with your therapist. Privacy is one of the basic pillars of our platform. Only details like your email, phone number etc are stored in secure server which are essential at our end for processing your transactions and providing smooth service.
  • 24. How do I delete my account and data?Icon
    You can find the option to delete your account and data in the My Account page. In case for some reason, you are unable to find the same, you can send an email to support@fyp.life and our team shall process the request within 48 working hours.
  • 25. Can I share my contact information with therapists?Icon
    Sharing of any personal contact information with a therapist is prohibited on the platform, this is to ensure safety of both the client and the therapist. There are unparalleled benefits of staying within the Fyp Life platform for your therapy needs, we are confident our customers wouldn’t want to lose those benefits. Sharing of such information or solicitation of services outside of the platform may potentially invite a ban for both the users from the platform.
  • 26. What should I do if the therapist is asking me to connect outside Fyp Life?Icon
    In such a case, you may send an email to support@fyp.life informing us of the same, we shall make sure that such a thing never happens again. Never share your personal details with anyone. Asking for contact information and or solicitation of services outside of the platform may potentially invite a ban for the therapist from the platform.
